Those of you who create jewellery know pretty well that the process is really relaxing, your mind wanders freely and if you are lucky enough, at the end of the day, you can see your potential problems under a new light.

Creation is some sort of therapy, I think, and if I had done a pair of earrings every time I felt in trap with no way to go, I would have stored up a good deal of earrings by now.

But if creations and emotions are so deeply connected to each other, why not pick up an emotion and interpret it? Why not give a shape to the unpleasant experience of feeling trap?

Obviously, wire technique is perfect to represent that feeling and my beloved silver copper wire made a wonderful work framing those reconstituted turquoise beads. I know, I shouldn’t be the one saying that…

Very pretty – Thanks for stopping by! You don’t need 3 years for sure you will be very surprised at how easy etching really is! I use the pcb etchant from Radio SHack ( it is featured in Semi Precious Salvage and this months Jewelry affair!) … it’s very addicting!

      Hi Patty!
I thank you for stopping and for the useful tip. I will check the pcb etchant out, look for some tutorials and then I’ll see what I can do.

      Thanks again!

Wow, love them! The color, the style – everything about them. And I think everyone can relate to the “trapped”-feeling:-)
