My bead soup is here!

27 Aug

When I entered my name in Lori’s list to take part to the Bead Soup Blog Party, I didn’t realized what a wonderful experience it could be.

Some days ago, I received my bead soup from Christine and I was more than happy when I opened the packet. It was Christmas and I felt like a little child that really had no idea of what she was going to receive. And as a child, my mouth opened in a great smile when I found a lovely note and great lampwork beads.

Here is what she sent me…

And here are some well deserved close-ups:

Aren’t those pink veins simply wonderful? I really cannot find the right word to define that colour but I know that I like it a lot.

Playful fairies that can be used as connectors.

Ready for the focal bead?

A wonderful bunch of tulips! The focal is great and it’s also something that draw me out of my comfort zone. I have never worked with a focal like this one and I want to find a way to enhance its beauty. I hope I will succeed…

Christine was also so nice to send me a little present: one of her message charm!

I am really overwhelmed. I didn’t image a blog Party could bring so much happiness!
I just want to thank Christine for the beads and Lori for all the heart she is putting into this. Thank you both!
