Thrift Store Blog Hop

4 Aug

So, Thrift Store Blog Hop, right?

This bracelet was my starting point and for many days I believed that it was also the end of my creativity. I tried to make different things, but I wasn’t happy with any of them.

I tried to arrange all those little chips in a two strings bracelet, but… no.
I tried to make some wired thing, but… no.

And I was also supposed to make pictures of all my struggling and my creative process, but you know how it is…

Squirrel - The picture that almost was

A squirrel passed by and I forgot.

At this point my working table was in a real chaotic state, and in that moment I had my personal, little Big Bang.

A chaotic ring, why not?

If I like it? I don’t know. But I find it is fun to wear and it makes me smile.

Don’t forget to visit everyone else who is hopping today.

I’m not sure how it happened but I completely missed out on this blog hop. . .or maybe I knew I’d be on vacation and let it slip by. In any case, what a great idea. It sounds like this got your wheels turning quite a bit. And, if that ring makes you smile then it’s a complete success. YAY!! Winner!

Its really interesting how you took organic and went to pretty with it. You did a lovely job in really repurposing the bracelet into a lovely ring! I am always in awe of what you all do with your components. Envious!

No need to be envious Shelley, you reivented your components in a great way. And you also make some lovely presents for your granddaughters!
